Climate Caucus is a centralized location for 21st-century local government climate justice policy in Canada. These resources include policies, motions, and inspiring examples of local government action on buildings, biodiversity, transportation, equity, waste, and more. Together, they demonstrate the power of the collective to drive change at the community level.
As a network committed to system transformation, we approach policy through a Planetary Health Policy Design Tool, which has been adapted specifically for decision-makers in local government in partnership with a team from University of Victoria's School of Public Administration led by Dr. Astrid Brousselle. This tool aims to advance systems-thinking and multisolving in response to complex, interconnected crises in the 21st century.
